Joseph McAfee has been licensed to practice law in the State of TN since October 2010. He has experience in commercial litigation involving real estate transactions, estate planning and other general civil litigation. He went into private practice in 2011 and has continued to be heavily involved in criminal defense, in both federal and state courts. He also handles civil litigation involving contract disputes, landlord tenant cases, construction litigation, and creditor/debtor issues. Additionally, he is very involved with estate planning including estate administration and the drafting of Wills.
Mr. McAfee is licensed in state courts across Tennessee, practicing in counties all over East Tennessee and also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee , in both Greeneville and Knoxville, as well as the United states Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Mr. McAfee is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, President of the Federal Bar Association for the Eastern District of Tennessee, the Greene County Bar Association, and the Washington County Bar Association and also voted Vice President for the 2015-2016 calendar year.
He is on the Board of Directors of the East Tennessee Federal Bar Association (for continuing legal education) as well as it's Vice President and currently is a Board Member at Comcare.

Jessica C. McAfee graduated law school from the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, VA in May, 2010 and has been licensed in practice in Tennessee since October, 2010. She worked from 2010 through 2011, she practiced out of Washington County in both Johnson City and Jonesborough handling domestic matters as well as juvenile delinquent and unruly offenses with a small group of attorneys gaining experience in handling court appointed cases, both in Juvenile Court and in General Sessions and Criminal Court in Washington County, Tennessee .
